Monday Must: What to Watch

WITH LAST WEEK FEELING AS LONG AS A FULL MONTH, WE’RE SWITCHING THE CHANNELS AND SHARING ALL THE FUN THINGS WE’RE WATCHING TO LIGHTEN THINGS UP.

Our team loves good content and we’re always giving out recommendations to each other. With last week being as anxiety-filled as it was, all of us are tuning into shows, Youtube channels, or movies that give our minds a break. We’ve already talked about why watching movies can be a great addition to your self-care routine but other video content can do the same. If you’re looking for some recommendations, here’s what we’re currently watching:

Never Too Small

Mary recommends Never Too Small, “I could never live small but this channel is fun.” If you love interior design and smart problem solving - Never Too Small might be the ideal channel for you. I’ll be watching this - there’s nothing more satisfying for me than turning a small place into a beautiful and functional space.

Teenage Bounty Hunters

D recommends this show, “I don't think Teenage Bounty Hunters got enough credit lol I thought it was binge-worthy.” Teenage twin sisters turned bounty hunters, this show is a comedy-drama that you can find on Netflix. With ten episodes only (rumor is - it’s canceled), it might just be one of those Netflix gems. I definitely missed this one and will be adding it to my to-watch list!

The Golden Girls

Enough said. Terry picked a classic. I feel like this show needs no explanation. The characters remaining loveable to this day and we can’t get enough of them.

P-Valley

This is a team pick: if you need some crime drama in your life and want to be immersed in a world full of complex characters - this is the show for you. The story is set around a popular American strip club and the people who work there. Check the trailer out here.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Helen is currently rewatching Brooklyn Nine-Nine, “I just love the character dynamics!” If you aren’t familiar with this show, it stars Andy Samberg, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, and more. The show will make you laugh non-stop and you might start saying “cool, cool, cool, cool, cool” before you know it.
