The pursuit of happiness is one of life’s fundamental quests. But what does it mean to be happy? And where can we find what we’re searching for?
This month we’re looking at ‘Happiness’. What happiness can look like to different people and in various circumstances. We’ll explore the science behind being happy, defining it for ourselves, and the realization that happiness isn’t something that simply happens.
This year we want to take ownership of our emotions. We are allowed to be happy. We are allowed to be sad. We are allowed to be everything in between.
Whatever you’re feeling right now, keep embracing it. Wrap your arms around yourself and squeeze inwards, hug it into your soul. Because no emotion is wrong or right or in need of rationalizing. This is the present moment. This, right now, is the only feeling you have. Ride it out.
And then — when you’re ready. And you will be — join us in our intention to be happy.
After all, we have the power to make small changes in our behaviour, our surroundings and our relationships that can help set us on course for a happier life. And what better intention to kick off our 2022 Self Love Club with than just that.
