Monday Must: Support Small Gift Guide

THE WHOLE TEAM’S HERE TO INTRODUCE YOU TO SOME SMALL BUSINESSES THAT WE’VE BEEN LOVING. WHETHER YOU’RE BUYING A GIFT FOR YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE – THESE BRANDS WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!

Holidays are around the corner! At work, our team has been talking about how to support small – we’ve even decided that for Secret Santa this year, we’re only allowed to get gifts from small businesses. If you’re new to buying from small businesses, or looking for more places to shop, we’re here for that. Our intention to shop small is beyond the holiday season, and we’ll be trying our best to be conscious about where we spend. We thought that this season is the time to start that conversation with you and invite you to join us. So, here are our top five small stores that we think you’ll love too.

365

D (Diandra - you met her on our Newsletters to Follow Monday Must) has two recommendations for anyone who loves vintage goodies. She says, “I am obsessed with vintage shops on instagram both for clothing and for home items. I truly believe that shopping second hand is so beautiful and I love the energy these people put into sourcing the items. I absolutely love the items that she curates. I know she works hard for her business too and honestly can attest the owner is an amazing person (so I may be biased haha).” Find 365 here and see if you can find the perfect one of a kind gift!

Good Day Vintage

D also mentioned Good Day Vintage, which we all adore as well. If you are obsessed with mid-century house goods then this is the place for you. The curation is amazing and there is bound to be at least one thing you’ll want from this shop.

Ace Beauty

No manicures? No problem. Ace Beauty is a Black owned business that makes beautiful press-on nails. Mary’s pick because “it’s affordable and fun. I love it since we can’t get our nails done, and I’m bad at painting my nails.” You can get 10% off if you sign up for their email list. Shop everything from fancy French manis to blinged up pressies.

Cocktail Box Co.

Terry mentioned the Cocktail Box Co. earlier this week, “I saw it on the Marilyn Dennis Show and thought that this little cocktail kit is just such a great idea!” Based in Canada, you can shop kits that make a premium single serving of the cocktail of your choice.

Lolly Lolly Ceramics

Lolly Lolly Ceramics is based in Columbus, OH. It’s a Black owned business that makes seriously beautiful ceramics. Helen says, “I like that it’s so cool that you can just leave it on display or actually use it as what it’s intended for.” The 100 mug collection is a must see, plus they’re all handmade by the Lolly Lolly team.
